Liability Waiver

By participating in classes, workshops, private sessions, or any offerings at Karuna Yoga House LLC (the “Studio”), you agree to the following:

Scope of Agreement

This Waiver & Agreement applies to all yoga classes, fitness classes, workshops, private sessions, and any other movement or physical activity services offered by the Studio.

Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in yoga and fitness activities involves inherent and unavoidable risks, including but not limited to physical injury, strain, sprains, falls, dizziness, illness, emotional discomfort, or other bodily conditions.

I voluntarily choose to participate and assume full responsibility for all risks, injuries, or damages that may occur as a result of my participation, whether known or unknown, even if arising from the ordinary negligence of the Studio.

Health & Personal Responsibility

I certify that I am physically and mentally able to participate in these activities, or that I have consulted with a medical professional and received clearance if needed.

I understand it is my responsibility to listen to my body, practice within my own limits, modify movements as needed, and discontinue participation if anything causes pain, discomfort, or distress.

I acknowledge that instructors are not medical professionals and do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by New York State law, I hereby release, waive, and discharge Karuna Yoga House, LLC, its owners, instructors, employees, independent contractors, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to my participation in any Studio activities, including those arising from ordinary negligence.

I understand that this waiver is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted under New York law.

Personal Property

I understand that the Studio is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of any personal belongings brought onto the premises.

Emergency Care

I authorize the Studio and/or emergency medical personnel to seek and provide emergency medical assistance on my behalf if deemed necessary. I understand that I am responsible for any resulting medical costs.

Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Karuna Yoga House, LLC and its representatives from any claims, damages, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising from my participation, conduct, or failure to follow Studio guidelines.

Agreement & Acknowledgment

By checking the box, I confirm that:

• I have read and fully understand this Waiver & Agreement

• I voluntarily agree to participate in all Studio activities

• I assume full responsibility for my participation and well-being

• I understand and accept that I am releasing Karuna Yoga House, LLC from liability for participation-related claims to the fullest extent permitted by New York State law
